These skewers are delicious to barbeque, fry in a pan or bake in the owen. Depending on your mood and weather.
4 persons
800 g chicken thighs without bones
2 dl Virgino garlic oil
2 cloves of garlic
about 0,5 dl soya
Juice of half a lemon
8 wooden skewers
about a 5 l plastic bag to marinate in
Soak the wooden skewers in advance to stop them from burning.
Cut the chicken into bite-size pieces and put them in the plastic bag. Grate the garlic and combine with the rest of the marinade ingredients. Pour the marinade over the chicken and marinate overnight in the fridge. If you are pushed for time, 20 minutes will already do wonders. But leave to marinate at room temperature.
Strain the chicken pieces and save the marinade. Thread the chicken onto the skewers and remember to lightly dry off the marinade from the skewers before grilling them. This will help to control the flames. Grill the skewers until done.
While the chicken is grilling, cook the saved marinade for about 5 minutes and flavour with honey for a fantastic stickiness. Check if added lemon or salt is needed. Lift the ready skewers off the grill and brush the marinade all over the chicken.
Delicious!
